Revolut and casino payments

Revolut Casino Questions Answered

These answers cover the Revolut questions that matter most when you are checking casino payment use in the United States. The focus is on merchant support, cash withdrawals, declined ATM withdrawals, and merchant blocks, so you can separate what Revolut controls from what a casino or ATM operator controls.

Revolut Casino Questions Answered: Key details

Revolut’s card and app rules can affect whether a payment goes through, but they do not confirm acceptance at any one Online Casino. Where the answer depends on the merchant type, ATM operator, or app setting, that distinction is called out directly.

Which merchants are not supported by Revolut?

Revolut says its U.S. personal cards can be used almost anywhere, except with financial securities brokers and dealers and foreign-exchange bureaus, including Travelex ATMs. Revolut also uses merchant category codes, so a support message can appear if a merchant is coded incorrectly. The U.S. help page does not list gambling merchants among its stated unsupported categories, but that does not confirm acceptance at any specific Casino or payment route.

How to withdraw cash from an ATM?

To withdraw cash, make sure your Revolut account has enough funds, your card is active, cash withdrawals are enabled, and you know your PIN. Then use an ATM and follow the on-screen prompts. A virtual card cannot be used for a contactless ATM withdrawal, so you need a physical card or the physical card through a digital wallet. Plan-based withdrawal limits and Revolut fees may apply, and the ATM operator may charge its own fee.

Why was my ATM withdrawal declined?

If the declined ATM withdrawal appears in Revolut, open Home, tap See all, select the declined withdrawal, and check the Status section for the recorded reason. If no withdrawal appears in the app, Revolut says the outside financial institution may have placed restrictions or had technical issues, and Revolut cannot see that decline. A reverted ATM withdrawal means it was cancelled and the funds were released immediately.

How do I block and unblock a merchant?

In the Revolut app, open your profile icon, go to Security, then Payments, then Blocked payments, and choose Add new to block a merchant from a previous payment. To remove the block, select the merchant and tap Unblock payments. Revolut also lets you do this from certain blocked transactions. The current limit is five active blocks and up to three different merchants blocked in a 30-day period.
